Also, the single "True 2 This '2K" b/w "L.S.D. '2K" will be droppin' November 20 (yea, not again, right?). One thing or another is always holding us back, but we're gonna come correct with ours regardess of all that!!!
You probably noticed that we have show dates listed on the right of this paragraph. This will be updated frequently, 'cause we're gonna be doing a lot of open mics, showcases and performances in these coming months, so look out for us in a club near u!!!

What up, ya'll?!!!. It's time for me to give another update on our progress:

First, our website has been up for a full year since July 1st. Remember, I am still working on renovating this site, so keep checking back, and if you have been already, good looking out. It's taking so long because I want it to be perfect, which should really go without saying. Anyway, the single True 2 This 2000, B-side with L.S.D., as of now has an official release date of October 20. We wanted to release this single in conjunction with the CMJ MusicFest, which is happening on October 19-22. It will also include a bonus track that will not be included on our debut album, which is by the way, tentatively titled Styles upon Styles, and it will be released in April 2001.

Also, True 2 This 2000 will be available online to purchase in various formats (CD, MP3, Liquid Audio, etc.) starting the last week of August. I will keep you posted on the details.

Oh yea, I just want to remind ya'll that we have a mailing list and a message board. You can join our mailing list to get the latest updates on FinylPhor. What up, ya'll?!!! I know it's been a minute (more like a year) since I've updated our site, but that's about to change right now.
First, let's talk about this website: As I said on the title page of this site, I am working on a completely different design of this website...if everything goes well, it should be complete by the middle of June, so keep checking this site.
Now as for our single, True 2 This 2000, the release date has been pushed back to October for "business" reasons, but I hope you will be checking for it though. Every few years, some MC(s) comes out of the cut and changes the "game" forever...we, as the FinylPhor, will be the next MCs to do just that.
Also in the workings, we're looking to perform at the Digital Club Festival, July 22-25. Check out their website at www.digitalclubfest.com for more info. We're also looking to perform at the CMJ MusicFest, October 19-22. Also check out their webiste at www.cmj.com for more info.

What's the deal, ya'll?!!! I know. I haven't updated this site in a minute 'cause I was mad busy, but that's about to change right now. Before I go on, I just want to give a Happy New Year, a Happy New Century, and a Happy New Millenium shoutout to all my real hip hop heads out there!! We're about to set off the new millenium the right way!!! Anyway, on with the news:

As you know, the compilation album, TOGETHER LIKE VOLTRON, is available now, so cop that!! Also, next month we will be performing at the New York DJ Battle 2000, brought to you by Cando Entertainment, so check out their website for more info. This is going to be a show for real hip hop - the hip hop of the past, with, of course, emphasis on the battling DJs. We will be selling copies of our debut single, True 2 This 2000, B-side with L.S.D., so ya should really come out to this show. Also, look for True 2 This 2000 to be blazing in college, public, and internet radio stations all over the country starting around late March 2000, and then look for our single to hit stores April 2000!!! Also, in March-April and the Summer of 2000, look for us to be doing shows at colleges and clubs in NY, NJ, CT, PA, RI, MA, and other states if possible.

As you can see, we ain't playing around this year!!! So follow us on this journey as we bring hip hop back to its purest form!! PEACE OUT, FOR NOW!!!

According to this section, the news section was last updated on September 14th, but that's not true. Those of you who have been checking our site regularly would know that. Also if you notice our web address is different. Know why? Because the original domain (finylphor.com) was cut off suddenly by the homosexuals that host my site. Anyway, on with the news:

The compilation album TOGETHER LIKE VOLTRON is finally here and it is coming out on November 30. You can buy the album by going to our order form and following the instructions. Some people were wondering what happened to the album, but the wait is over!!! The industry is about to be ours, and it starts right here. Also, after this project, look for our debut single coming out in April 2000 off the forthcoming FinylPhor LP/EP (don't know yet) coming in September 2000!!! All you other rappers out there: don't worry about it, it will be all over soon!!

The FinylPhor is scheduled to work on a compilation album in collaboration with 101st Airbourne Productions entitled, "TOGETHER LIKE VOLTRON." This project features rap artists from all over the world. Funny enough, the FinylPhor is the only New York based rap group on this album. This album is going to drop in late October, so all my REAL rap heads out there go cop that joint one time. Bookmark this site in your browsers, keep us posted to find out how to cop this joint, word up. See, like I said, we about to blow it up for the year 2G kid!!! Before I forget, big shout-out to Chris "MC AK" Bonde, the owner of 101st Airbourne, for letting us shine on this project, word to muhva yo!!!

Today, the FinylPhor recorded another track, so now we have 12 tracks recorded and sceduled to be on the album as of today.

Today will mark the opening of this website. This is the first exposure of the FinylPhor to the public.

The single, which at this time the title will remain undisclosed, is due to come out in late February 2000. This single is from the forthcoming album, tentatively titled, "Styles Upon Styles" which as of now has a July 2000 release.
